Cresswell until we find the right player. Aguerd is a no from me as he’s injury prone and not shown a big reason to give it to him. I wouldn’t be disappointed with Bowen.

Bowen, it can only be him. One of our best players and seems to get the club. I’d consider Zouma if he wasn’t made of glass. Not sure there is anyone else worth considering, I’m hoping neither of the Cezch boys are in our starting 11 come august.

Cresswell will struggle to be the first to reach the pitch next season, the rest of the team will get fed up as he's so slow and just run past him.

If we're going MOYSEBALL and getting JWP, then it should be him.
I can't think of any first teamers that immediately jump out as worthy candidates. Cresswell would be the obvious choice, but I don't really fancy him playing much for us next season.

Cresswell will be 'club captain' I am sure which is something that's always made me cringe a little, but I suppose it makes sense as he's one of the senior players and seems to be somewhat popular and a leader.
In terms of regular starters already at the club. Zouma, Aguerd, Soucek or Bowen are probably most likely. Wouldn't completely surprise me if they give it to Paqueta for the same reasons Rice had it.

So much depends on who stays, goes or gets improved upon.
I'd like it to be Coufal, who for me embodies the club's spirit, has the right level of maturity, and I think would be honoured to do it. Proper warrior attitude, worked hard to get where he is, never gives up, etc.
I (as have said previously) suspect it will be Soucek. If he's still in the team I can live with that, as it might being a bit more out of him, he's been a captain in the past etc, but to improve he probably needs to be replaced in the starting XI.
My fear is it will be Fabianski - don't like keepers as Captains, and would signify him between the sticks in the Prem for another season.
